Jennifer Plaster, JD
Jennifer Plaster joined the Conflict Resolution Center of Cabarrus County as its new Executive Director on September 8, 2015. Jennifer graduated from Washington & Lee University in Lexington, VA with a B.A. in Sociology and Anthropology. She pursued a legal career focusing on restorative justice, ultimately earning a J.D. from Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA after completing her first two years of studies at Fordham University in New York, NY. During her time as a magistrate in Virginia, Jennifer became interested in alternative dispute resolution and the various ways it can benefit communities, from reconciling family relationships to decreasing the amount of taxpayer money spent on trials. With direction from CRC’s Board of Directors and the support of her excellent staff, Jennifer plans to expand CRC’s current programs and hopes to develop additional restorative justice programming.
