Shoplifting Theft Offender Program (S.T.O.P.)

This mediation program helps Young Adults between the ages of 18-25 have a chance to dismiss their current charges in court by completing certain requirements. This charge has to do with a misdemeanor Larceny charge that has occurred somewhere in the community. Businesses small and large have approved participants to come into our program as a way to learn of the consequences of Shoplifting and also spend time giving back to the community through their participation in the program.

Participants get to learn through several steps the serious nature of Shoplifting. Some of the requirements include online tests, class time in a classroom setting, community service, a reflective essay, and any additional tools they made need to be successful in their future without shoplifting.

Young Adult Mediation (Y.A.M.)

This mediation program helps Young Adults between the ages of 18-25 have a chance to dismiss their current charges in court by completing certain requirements. Once completed, paid the fees, and turned back into our center they can get their case dismissed. This allows the charge to become a learning opportunity for participants to avoid future charges that can be harmful to themselves or the community.

We believe in being able to 'Live and Learn' from our mistakes, but learning requires sacrifice. Some assignments given are a certain number of community service hours, reflective essays, and anything additional that could help in an individual's case.
